Brake pad's and disc's

This is not only a vital element part of a vehicle but also a legal requirement to the law.

The hydraulic system is initiated by pressing the brake pedal which causes two pistons to push two pad's on either side of a disc in a clamping motion. Brake disc's are fitted to the wheels of the vehicle therefore, when the pad's clamp on to the disc's, this causes friction were the vehicle will slow down and bring the vehicle to a stop.
